The Cariboo is an outdoor enthusiast next best thing to paradise; to those that live here we believe it IS paradise!
Our landscape consists of wonderful rolling hills and pasture with endless forested areas. You will never tire of all the beautiful lakes, whether you come here to fish, hunt, pitch a tent, hop on a horse, take a hike or just relax; we have so much to offer you and your family. In the winter one can enjoy the endless snowmobile and cross country trails, ice fishing as well as down hill skiing at our local resorts.
One can find fish in most of our lakes and of course we never divulge our fishing spots or special hunting grounds but we are sure you will find it fun to find your own secret spot!
You can back pack or cycle down old logging trails or abandoned train tracks and come across some amazing waterfalls. Or just stay at one of our many camp grounds or resorts.
